The Story of Our Name
A capmaker's dream, a treasure in a cellar, a mosque that bears his name.
Arakiye is the fine felt cap worn by dervishes; the arakiyeci is the master who makes it by hand. Our platform takes its name from Takkeci Ibrahim Cavus, who chased a dream to Baghdad only to learn the treasure he sought was in his own home. We inherited only the name, and try to be worthy of it.
